tapeHUD is an independent, proprietary browser extension and visual analytics tool. tapeHUD is strictly a visualization overlay that formats live browser Time & Sales data. tapeHUD does NOT provide brokerage services, does NOT place, execute, or route trades, and does NOT hold customer funds. tapeHUD visualizes confirmed executed trade prints (Time & Sales) and does not provide or display passive Depth of Market (DOM) / Level 2 limit order books. All order placement and trading risk remain exclusively between the user and their broker.
Access to tapeHUD is provided on a subscription basis. All subscriptions include an initial 7-day free trial, limited to one (1) free trial per payment method, email address, and workstation. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time during the 7-day trial period or during any active billing cycle with a single click via your account management link or email receipt. If not cancelled before the 7-day trial concludes, your subscription automatically begins and renews at the chosen billing rate (1-device or 2-device plan). Upon cancellation, access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle with zero cancellation fees. Attempts to circumvent the one-trial limitation by using alternate emails, payment methods, or workstations may result in automatic cancellation of the duplicate trial subscription.
The tapeHUD software, order flow visualization algorithms, acoustic radar logic, user interface design, and website content are the exclusive proprietary property of tapeHUD.com. Unauthorized reverse engineering, distribution, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
tapeHUD processes and reconstructs market transactions locally in your browser strictly as delivered by your active broker or trading platform’s Time & Sales feed. tapeHUD is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. tapeHUD does not warrant or guarantee that browser data streams will be uninterrupted, continuous, timely, or completely error-free. Calculation accuracy, volume delta, and profile distributions may be impacted by third-party internet latency, browser tab throttling, power-saving sleep policies, WebSocket reconnects, or host platform data transmission delays. Under no circumstances shall tapeHUD, its creators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential trading losses, execution slips, or financial damages resulting from browser data delivery or client-side technical interruptions.
The CSV export feature provided by tapeHUD is strictly a client-side convenience tool intended solely for the user’s personal record-keeping, trade journaling, local spreadsheet analysis, and personal quantitative research. All market transaction data visualized and subsequently exported via tapeHUD originates directly from your independent third-party broker, trading platform, or data vendor, and remains subject to the market data agreements, terms of service, exchange rules (including, without limitation, rules imposed by exchanges such as CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, ICE, NASDAQ, or NYSE), and data licensing agreements established between you and your provider.
